The Dakota Dinosaur Museum is a fabulous family museum in Dickinson. Stroll this 13,400 sq. ft. museum to view the collections of paleontological and geological specimens from around the world. The museum's 11 full-scale dinosaurs are quite impressive! Alice and Larry League began their collection in 1984, when they excavated Oligocene age mammals in the Dickinson area.
When the League's collection expanded to over several thousand pieces in 1987, they started fund-raising and development efforts to build the museum.
