Dickinson State University
Established in 1918, Dickinson State University is a public, four-year university with a 110-acre campus in Dickinson, North Dakota. Now a part of the North Dakota University System, the school was originally designed as a “normal school,” which filled a need for qualified teachers in the area.
The university’s 10 academic departments offer over 75 fields of study accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. The DSU Blue Hawks don blue and white as they compete – in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics’ Frontier Conference – in football, basketball, and more.
